Bill Farrell
The third of eleven children growing up in the 1950's and 1960's, Bill Farrell lived with his family under a modest roof in rural Connecticut. The out-of-doors provided the writer and his spirited siblings year-round adventure. After doing their chores at home, you would usually find them outside playing baseball and basketball or in the woods hiking and fishing.
All this activity served the author well. While attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School in New Britain, Connecticut, Bill was selected to the All-State basketball team in his senior year. From there he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics at the University of Bridgeport where he was a four-year varsity baseball player and team captain in his final year. Bill also earned a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Hartford in 1984.
His professional career, as an executive in information technology, spanned more than thirty years. Now retired, the writer resides with his wife, Mary, the youngest of his three daughters and two Jack Russell Terriers.
